Dried smoked fish

Many communities around the world smoke fish and sell it, Kiribati was no different. The fish is cleaned, laid out on cut palm frond stems and smoke over, unfortunately anything that will produce smoke. Sadly I have seen plastic bottles, tires and other strong smelling and unhealthy fuel sources. But if people are poor and the fuel is free, they will use it.
