Drawn Back to Africa

There is cliche’ “You can take the girl out of Africa but you cannot take the Africa out of the girl”. I laughed when I first heard this but it is oh so true. I go back to see the wildlife, mainly the animal or four-legged kind, every opportunity I get. Each time I experience something special, something that takes my breath away, that awes me. I am privileged to have found something that awes me and to able to go back and be awed on a regular bases. This trip’s Magical moment was a special with a young male leopard. Leopards are not easy to see, and those that have had the privilege should remember that the wildlife allows you into their world, allows you spend moments with them and that should they wish to, they can simply walk away and disappear. This is my leopard.
