We have arrived and trying to find out feet

We have arrive in Kiribati, our new home for a little while but settling in is moving at "island time” pace and we will all be taught a lesson in patience. Kiribati was also known as the Gilbert Island group while under British rule and lies smack bang on the equator. It is hot and humid and rains every day. The people smile easily dispite a rather hard way of life. Resources and food is daily challenge. Which brings me to my next point, internet access and weekily uploads. This is not likely to be a realistic possibilty. Internet access is available but is mostly suited to accessing emails and such, uploads and downloads often fail. However I will continue to try when able. So this is my first upload without a picture as I have tried many times to upload with a picture. Its seems I may have to fly to Fiji (3 hours) in order to effect uploads.
