Traditional Dhow Racing,

As 2016 starts, and as yet not allot has happened in this new year, we all look back on what has passed. This photo brings back memories of the first dhow race I was privileged to photograph. It was also one of the first pictures I every sold. These dhows have a wonderful history, and it is great to see they have not been cast aside for greater and more modern vessels. They glide across the bay like ballerinas, their white sails bellowing in the steady breeze.
