Mount Titlis

Mount Titlis is 3283m above sea level. It is accessed by 3 cable cars and a funicular. It was first climbed in 1739, can you imagine what an achievement that must have been, how long it must of taken and the hardships encountered? Today it takes 45 minutes and you are near the summit, where you can sit and eat gourmet food and watch the clouds gather, before heading back down to the safety of your car. At the top of the mountain there is whole community of shops and activities. You can walk around the Ice Cave, test you fear of heights by walking the Sky Bridge or feel the cold wind on your face at the Ice Flyer which will drop you off for a short sledge ride. Or you could simply throw snow balls at passers by.
