Baby's are not so brave without mom!

We had a wonderful time in South Africa’s National Park, Kruger National Park.

Sadly the surrounding, iconic tourist areas have lost their way, they have deteriorated and fallen into disrepair. However our time in Kruger was wonderful, we were blessed with lots of sightings and animal interaction.

Our favourite was this little elephant.

He was maybe 4 months old, had not quite yet mastered the use of his trunk and was mucho as long as his mother was nearby. But once she had moved off, he was no longer brave, in fact he got so scared that he rushed off after her, while keeping a watchful eye on us. And in his desire to get to mom he had not noticed that she had stopped and he crashed with all his force into her leg. It was quite funny. She calmed him down with a reassuring trunk stroke on his back and on they went.

Next is Namibia…. I cannot wait. I have never been before and not sure what to expect but I am sure it will be fun.
