Flamingoes in the Desert
In Abu Dhabi, a desert bound city, there is a small, salt oasis made from the water treatment plant.
Every year the flamingoes gather. I was surprised to see they were mostly white in colour. No bright pink shades as seen on National Geographic, no sir, only a hinted shade of pink when they flew away.
